Charlie is a senior mining and finance professional who has worked with Abra Mining since 2020. Charlie’s prior work includes seven years at Heron Resources as Marketing Manager and General Manager, Strategy & Business Development, and nine years at Azure Capital where he provided defence, financing and strategic advice across more than 100 transactions spanning the resources, industrial and technology sectors. Charlie holds a Master of Engineering Science from The University of Oxford and an MBA (Advanced) from The University of Western Australia.  Charlie is a Non-Executive Director of private med-tech company Avicena Systems.

B(Hon) Geology, MAIG

Mr. Angelo is a geologist with over 17 years of mineral exploration experience in Western Australia, Brazil, and Burkina Faso. He has strong experience with base metals, gold, iron ore, and nickel exploration. He has been part of the Galena Mining team since the company was listed on the ASX in September 2017, coordinating all the diamond drilling programs on site and actively participating in the development of the geological model and mineral resource of the Abra Pb-Ag deposit.

George has over 36 years of operational mining experience, occupying management positions in both Owner and Contractor roles. He has worked in various environments that include Small Satellite Pits to Ultra Deep Level Mines, adopting numerous Mine Extraction Methodologies. Theses include Conventional Airleg, Rail bound operations, Semi-Mechanised Room & Pillar, Fully Mechanised Room & Pillar, Narrow and Massive Sub Level Open Stoping with Pastefill. Commodities extracted include Gold, Platinum, Chrome, Copper and now Lead & Zinc

George began his career in the South African Goldfields, and after 14 years moved to the Platinum Belt prior to emigrating to Western Australia in 2009. In WA, George has operated and been part of management teams at Higginsville, Kanowna Belle, Kundana Strip, Granny Smith and recently joined Abra Mining.

Miss Tabakovic has over 11 years’ experience in the accounting profession. Her experience includes financial accounting reporting, company secretarial services, ASX and ASIC compliance requirements. Miss Tabakovic has been involved in listing a number of junior exploration companies on the ASX and is currently Company Secretary for numerous ASX listed companies.
